Blue Thunder 1983 2160p UHD Blu-ray Remux DV HDR HEVC FLAC 2 0-CiNEPHiLES

Blue Thunder is a specially modified helicopter. It is for police work, but is armed and designed to counter street insurgencies. Its makers want to show what it will do, but have to train Los Angeles Police pilot Frank Murphy to fly and use it in order to allow it to operate in the city. Murphy and the project pilot have differences going back to Vietnam. The conflict between them continues to heat up as Murphy begins to suspect that Blue Thunder is more than has been disclosed.

Demuxed with latest DGDemux and w/ merge DV function. The DV MEL has cm v4.0.

UHD comes with the original stereo (matrixed). It's about the same audio quality as the LD from tri-star. However, Arrow doesn't have the distortions on some of the dialogue that the tri-star LD has. Arrow has the same dynamic range and was chosen. Arrow also has a new remix track, which is better than the previous tracks on the Sony Blu-rays and ESC Editions FRA Blu-ray, and closer to the 5.1 on the NTSC DVD; All of them have split surrounds.

Commentary was slightly better on the ESC Editions FRA Blu-ray and was synced to the remux.
