The mysterious disappearance of a woman is related to a series of murders. Is the perverted "e;evil ghost"e; hiding for 20 years actually around? Yu Na (played by Chen Duling), a veterinarian at a pig farm, disappeared at night and her whereabouts are unknown. The clues point to the "e;evil ghost"e; who committed a horrific serial rape and murder case 20 years ago. The cruel ear-cutting method is horrifying... New victims have also appeared one after another. 7 innocent lives were brutally killed, but the real murderer disappeared? Feng Taishan (played by Ning Li), a policeman involved in the case, was determined to find out the "e;evil ghost"e; and find the trace of veterinarian Yu Na. Her pig farm employer Yan Huiru (played by Liu Mintao) and her family, the eldest son Zhang Xiaojun (played by Wang Xun) and the youngest son Zhang Xiaowei (played by Duan Bowen) behaved strangely and suspiciously. Everyone seemed to have an unknown side, and the investigation gradually fell into trouble. The murderer is hidden and extremely evil, but behind the truth, there is a darker secret that is even more bloody and cruel.
