[spoiler]Tron was originally presented theatrically in 4.1 discrete surround for 70mm exhibitions and Dolby Stereo for 35mm general release.
The 70mm mix was only ever released on Disney's 1998 DVD, and has never seen rerelease since.
The Dolby Stereo was used for all home video presentations (VHS/LD) until the 2002 DVD, which used a new 5.1 remix approved by THX.
This remix then saw use on the 2010 BD, lossless this time
The 2002 mix is generally faithful to the theatrical sound design, albeit with a few changes to suit the larger soundstage
For the 4K remaster, a new Dolby Atmos remix was created. This remix contains some newly added sound effects and other alterations to the sound design.
As every mix felt to me like it had significant merit (including even the 2002 remix because of its high use in home theater setups), they have all been synced to the UHD.
