With Deeper, Robby D goes with more of a vignette style feel. The scenes are all independent of each other, but all have a fairly heavy artistic feel that I think will remind many of the camera work he did for Celeste&s movies. The main thing which sets Deeper apart from Celeste&s movies is that here you get to hear the performers.

The only scenes that didn&t work that well for me were Sativa&s closing scene and Faith&s scene with Jerry, which had dark feelings that I just couldn&t get into too well. All that said, Deeper lets Robby try something a bit different with a more artistic movie. Although how well the scenes worked for me varied from scene to scene, I can&t have a single reservation about watching it. Robby shows a great artistic eye through the movie and isn&t afraid to take a few risks.
